Adopted cat problems with other cats?

Well my bfs Mom adopted her friends cat that ped away (Princess) and Cindy which is boyfriends Mom has 2 cats Scamper and Tilly. Plus 3 dogs Kiara, Petey, and Max lol anyways Princess has been in the house before and now she's peeing on the furniture, taking control of the basement (towards Scamper) not so much Tilly for she hates Princess and sometimes Princess will chase Scamper upstairs if she's eating and it won't stop how does Cindy (bfs Mom) take care of her and correct this behavior in Princess??
