Should I surrender and close my account and start a new account becuase people slanders me all the tim?

Should I surrender and close my accounts and start a new account becuase people slanders me all the time? and all becuase i admitted abusing a bug in a game (i didn't do it) and now I get trolled as the one who abused it would? and should I surrender becuase people keep saying "no one likes you" and spread this rumor even though i have friends..?
