How long can i leave this dog alone for?

He's a beautiful dog, but with the time and energy he is going to need, he's not the right dog for your family. He has issues that need to be overcome and that will take dedication and consistency. Leaving him alone for 8 hours a day right away isn't going to benefit him. That particular dog would be better suited in a home with an experienced owner.
