How to get a boyfriend in Middle School?

Okay.So there's this boy I like ( lets just call him Shane) at my school.I don't know if he likes me or not.The story is, I was in homeroom with all the other 7th graders and another boy (lets call him Timmy) shouted to me "Shane likes you!".Everyone there heard.BTW Timmy and Shane were sitting by each other talking at the time.Thing is, Timmy could have been lying.The only cl I can talk to him alone is Cooking ( which isn't till term 3 and it's the end of Term 1 now! ).I need serious help.Please don't write anything like 'your too young for dating'.I am getting annoyed because I am the only girl in homeroom who hasn't had a boyfriend yet.Please help!!!
