Navy reserves DEP switching to active duty?

I just signed a contract to go reserves and will ship to boot camp 2008/05/29. I told my recruiter that i want to switch to active duty asap and before my shippment ends. I told him i made a huge mistake signing to reserves and told him that i don't pretty much like to be put on reserves. Because i wanna work full time. Then he told me he will do something about it and he said a lot of people change their minds and wants to switch status. So pretty much this problems happens a lot, he said. So he drop me off to the meps to change my status. I talk to a navy service council and told them that i want to switch to active. They made me wait for 3hours. after that they told me that my recruiter is waiting on the front desk. So i met up with my recruiter and he ask me happened. I said, 'what do you mean what happend? He told me that they didn't want me to switch active because i was sleeping. I told him there's nothing to do so i slept until they call me. And ask him if he was serious. Cont
