How do i use the opera bittorent. be very specific and leave nothing out.?

i want to use torrents and for convinience i'm planning on using opera's own torrent. i want to know a few things though. first tell me exactly what i need to do to get a download going. second, can i use absolutly any torrent on any webpage. and if it doesn't start downloading then why. (i tried bitcomet and waited half an hour for a download of scrubs season 1-6 to even start and i heard it only takes 2-10 minutes to start so i may be doing something wrong.) please leave nothing out when answering this. i can use ares or limewire fine but when it comes to torrents i'm the biggest newbie.
