What could be wrong with my nearly 9 week old son's eyes?

Ever since my son we born his eyes have been getting gooey green gunk coming out of his eyes. My LMC told me to put some milk in them so I did for about two weeks and it cleared up for a few hours but then came back. We took him to the doctor last Friday and the doctor gave me some eye drops to put in his eyes which I did for a week. But that didnt do anything either. It doesnt hurt him or anything but it must get annoying. I've also tried using a cotton ball and some salt water and washed his ey every hour for a week and that hasnt worked either. Will this go away or should I get a second opinion frmo another doctor?

Does moonshine/ethanol have hydrocarbons & fungus? Can it be stored for years and then used for fuel?

I was going to store 50+ gallons of gasoline for my generator until I learned that the hydrocarbons would be consumed by fungus in the gasoline & that's why its no good after 6 months or so. My son is 2 years old and was born with a skull deformity called congenital plagiocephaly and wore a cranial remolding helmet the first year of his life for 23 hours a day. His skull is much better although he does have a lot of facial asymmetry. His cranio-facial plastic surgeon suggested an otoplasty to correct the protruding ears and give him some more symmetry. He said it would be best to do young, before school starts. my wife is out at least 5-6 evenings per week including friday and saturday sun and her explanation is she needs her space. she is sometimes gone for more than 4 hours returning at 11-12 and on several occions 2-4 am. she seldom answers her phone and when asked why we are not able to reach her she says she did not hear it ring or she did not get the calls. her phone is always lock and when at home she seldom move arround without it. I just found out I failed my History cl midterm, please help?

So to start off, I'm a freshman at a top community college. Top as in best transfer rate to top four year universities in the state. I am usually (for the most part) an "A" student whose quite ambitious. I thought I got at LEAST a "B" on that midterm, but tonight when it was given back to me, I was SHOCKED! I always hated multiple choice exams because they are ALWAYS a gamble. I would've taken it as essay(s) form, but I chose multiple choice, and now I regret it. If I do well on the final, then my final exam score will double, replacing the low midterm score-- that's the policy for the cl. Even though this professor is really nice, and allow your grade to improve, the fail was extremely depressing. I got a 51.2%. In the final exam, I'm most likely going to do the essay version, that way partial credit is given instead of gambling away my grade for the cl. I want to add; the textbook for this cl is not in chronological order, a.nd it's just in black and white print, very useless other than for info.. There's still hope for me to get an "A" in the cl, but that's if I ACE the final. Please give me advice based on your personal experience, opinions, or observations. Thanks!

Im looking to put a new propane furnace in a 2250 sq ft property. Is a 125k btu unit too big?

The property is in central PA, has a brick exterior and was built in 1900. There is currently R-19 insulation in the walls and R-11 doubled up to make 22 in the ceilings. My chest register is is quite low. almost sounds baritonal. Its quiet from what people tell me when i speak. When i sing songs that are in baritone its ok but it isn't easy. I often find baritone to be alittle out of range for my chest. So i pull up or shift register to match the note but either or, it doesn't sound the same as a baritone would as they ascend past E4. I sing just about Everything. My mixed register is of course is colorful easily reaching up to D5 with comfort. its not my absolute comfort zone though because I find it hard to curve vowels leaving open airy spaces for a kind of a half voice. I find it easy to belt in though at the top rather than from the bottom which i do of course with proper technique. My Head voice from there comes in at about Eb5 which is still underdeveloped. Has easy cord closure but sounds squeaky even with a low larynx but has alot of volume. Then as I go to about A5 or B5 somewhere around there, is what sounds like Whistle voice. I have to relax completely or it will not release into it. Its light and white and pretty much jumps out of know where when i'm singing female songs at the top of the range and when i try to sing softly on high notes. Baritone is ok to sing but not the easiest and even when i talk in chest there is what feels like alot of weight so i don't do it much. Singing Tenor is annoying i often find myself frustrated and confused by the end of the day. but i find singing many of Evanscence songs easy. So am i a leggerio tenor or some other high voice? And Please if you answer with 'countertenor' then atleast tell me what type and give some advice to help me get some balance please it would be much appreciated.

Please, what do you think is wrong with my cat?

She went from 9.2 lbs to 7.5lbs, yet eats extremely well. She was brought to vet, they checked a thyroid level which is normal. Today I came home from a trip and was told that the cat was at the vet. She was unresponsive and cold. They are keeping her at the very least overnight, running blood work, warming her, and giving her iv fluids. She is 8 year old indoor cat, but they tested her for leukemia and feline hiv anyway which are negative. I was thinking maybe diabetes. Does anyone have any other thoughts on what it can be. Preparing standard dilutions for a standard curve question?

Actually, serial dilutions are generally made as follows: You have a stock solution of known concentration. You then dilute that say, 1:1, giving you a solution that is now 1/2 the original concentration. You then take THAT new solution, and dilute it, say, 1:1 giving rise to yet another new solution that is now 1/4 the original. You keep doing this over and over. That is really what a serial dilution is. The other way is to take the original and use it to make all the suceeding solutions. So, you might dilute the original stock 1:1, and then dilute the original stock 1:4, and then dilute the orignal stock 1:8, and so on. I can tell you from persoanl experience that the disadvantage to the second method is that if you make a mistake in making the original stock, then ALL solutions are wrong. If you make a mistake in serial diltutions, you can generally track it down, and make a correction. On the other hand, if you make the original stock correctly, then the precision in using the stock to make all subsequent dilutions is better than in serial dilutions.

Is chunky monkey a joke?

My husband of 4 months grabbed my backside while laying down & said "hmmm, chunky monkey." When he realized - two minutes later, that I was completely silent & still, he tried to play it off like he'd just had an uncontrollable urge for ice cream. Navy reserves DEP switching to active duty?

I just signed a contract to go reserves and will ship to boot camp 2008/05/29. I told my recruiter that i want to switch to active duty asap and before my shippment ends. I told him i made a huge mistake signing to reserves and told him that i don't pretty much like to be put on reserves. Because i wanna work full time. Then he told me he will do something about it and he said a lot of people change their minds and wants to switch status. So pretty much this problems happens a lot, he said. I will go to a very small high school that is poorer than crap and has very very bad education and o.k athletics. School for Dog Trainers?

You're definitely better off with "hands on" experience. I've met DOZENS of "Master Trainers" (About $50-75K worth of schooling) that can't train a dog. The certificates really are bogus. Then again, marketing is a big factor in business. A lousy trainer may make a better living than a good trainer because of what he advertises. I see some trainers with their list of "Qualifications"....and 99% of the qualifications are simply organizations they belong to. I could pay memberships to every dog club in hte world, and advertise that as "qualifications". It may not mean a hill o' beans, but to the untrained client, it looks like you're gods gift to dog trainers.

I know the symphony orchestra where I am occasionally does what they call "baby proms" which happen during the day, and are comprised of child-friendly music and pitched very much at kids; nobody minds if the children sing along! If you can find something like that near where you are then that's a great step, if not, why not suggest it to local orchestras? You've said you don't want to push him, which is fantastic; maybe when he reaches 4 or 5, see if he's interested in learning the recorder, which is an excellent starting point for any other wind or br instrument. Kids as young as 3 can also learn the violin through the Suzuki method, if he (and you!) are really keen. Meanwhile, keep playing him clical music - if he likes Chopin and Liszt, maybe try him with Dvorak and some of the Russian Romantics - and also, sing with him. The voice is an instrument that doesn't require any coordination and if you can get him singing in tune well now, you've formed a great basis for any instrument later in life.

Any thoughts on PG-13 movies for kids in the age 10 range? Do you allow your kids to watch PG 13 movies after watching them yourself or researching content? Did your tattoo artist go in too deep with the color? This is a common mistake for new artists and it makes the tattoo scar more and heal much slower. Have you tried just cleaning it with saline or sea salts in the bath? I wouldn't recommend this for new tattoos but if you are 4 months out then I think that it would be worth a try.

Why does my Murray riding mower do this?

I have a 1997 Murray with a Briggs 12.5hp I/C. When I turn it off after about an hour, every now and then it will shoot out a large flame about three feet long; not a common split second backfire flame, this looks like something from a flamethrower. It makes a quiet sound that kinda sounds like it's whispering "pow". Then it lets out this cloud of very light blue smoke, not quite blue enough to be pure oil blow-by. It shoots it out full blast for about 4 seconds, then about 7 seconds of it pouring out, then it lightens up and stops. It starts right back up after this happens. All I know is that it burns about a gallon of oil an hour. It runs very strong, like a Briggs should, except it backfires a lot and it burns oil terribly. I offroad with it (hills, wheelies, rock climbing, etc), and I beat the living **** out of it.

when u use the box blonde they do have the conditioning properties in them but all u have to do is to reshampoo ur hair again after u have washed it off as this will open the cuticle in ur hair. although only thing is with putting the purple colour over the top it may be too wishy washy. for example if u paint a white wall with a colour it dilutes it a wee bit. so u may need to put the purple on twice to get it to stick as when u bleach ur hair u are removing natural tone and depth so there is nothing left for the colour to stick to.

Android Phone Keeps Connecting then Deconnecting to PC?

Whenever my Motorola Triumph is connected to my PC (Windows7) it will connect for about 1 second, then it thinks the device is removed for about 1 second, then it connects again and keeps repeating until I finally unplug the phone from my computer. Why is the skin on my peeling?

Nose Piercing First Impression_ Everyone?

Well when I first got mine, the reactions I got were, "that looks so cute on your nose" - from girls and then more than half of my friends copied me and got one too. guys think it looks hot on me and so that made me feel even better about it. My parents crack jokes about there being something on my nose but my mom loves it and my dad got used to it. So these days its really not a big deal. It just depends if it looks good on you or not. Not everyone was meant to have body piercings. Personally i feel that nose piercings are more accepted by society these days. As for lip piercings, brow piercings and anything else my parents would have killed me and people would have looked at me weird and so therefore i will never go beyond my nose piercing!
